Hi... I wanted to briefly introduce myself...
My name is Troy, I'm from the Netherlands, I guess I better write in English because if I have to write in German I'll make a lot of mistakes (I can read/speak it but the writing is harder :D)
For my introduction...: I am the webmaster from www.dutchgothic.org and a moderator from the Dutch gothic mailinglist and Forum, I also play in a band called Gail of God (industrial). Next to that I'm a DJ on a dancenight in the city of Nijmegen (onderstroom.dutchgothic.org) where we play oldskool styles like postpunk/deathrock miniaml etc....
Anyway, just wanted to say hi :) if someone might have questions feel free to ask or mail me.... I joined this forum to find out more about the German scene because I want to visit some parties and shows in the future, sofar I've only been to WGT in Germany and I do feel like exploring the German scene more

Ich finds ja spannend, das hier mal ein neues Mitglied von auswärts dazukommt... verstehst du richtig gut deutsch, oder kannst du nur "schuldeutsch"? Weil manchmal bau ich ein weng komplizierte grammatikalisch nicht richtige Sätze, und es würde mich interessieren, ob du die auch verstehst?

I think I can understand/read a lot of it ;) Thing is I live kinda close to the German border (close to Kleve) and that's why I can speak and read the German language, I also had German language classes in school... but I wasn't too good in it either at that point *grin* anyway, as long as it's not in too strange dialects I can pretty much decifer anything after reading it maybe once or twice, and who knows... after reading a lot of info on this board I might just pick up more of the language and even try to post in German in the future *crosses fingers* heheh...
