A garden old and strange at times,
Beyond bewildered paths it lies;
An ethereal song there is sung,
Spirits dwell there eternally young;
There live trees of some thousands of years,
For their dead counterparts flow their tears;
There are spectres once prayed to as gods,
For dark spells woven someone applauds;
Once one enters it something there stays,
For all times till the end of all days;
Tis the part one gives up there and wins,
In return some of old angels sins;
Tis the bond that once made never breaks,
Tis the path that once chosen one takes;
That can lead to the all-knowing mind,
Or can break you and leave you all blind;
There are fractions of spirits and gods,
Some at war, some in peace, some at odds;
When their fire your soul then ignites,
You found the garden of arcane delights;

Old Souls / The Morrigan
A world of war and full of hate
Not able to regenerate
How can it be that such an ill
Attracts some real wise spirits still?
Are they to change this planet s ways?
Preserve it for some better days?
Are they to see and only learn?
Although for change their spirits yearn
Are they to try and teach their truth?
To be as water deep and smooth?
Are they to fight for what they know?
Old gods to whom their souls they owe
Or is this just some kind of cell?
A prison for them or a hell?
In which for karmic crimes they pay
And wait until the judgement day?
Sometimes I think none of this true
And ´tis just earth a planet blue
That none of other worlds exist
Insanity my mind just kissed
And then I simply close my eyes
See what beyond illusion lies
And come back to the war and hate
And wonder whether it s too late
To save the beauty of this place
To save its tenderness and grace
To find a way of not to see
What ever was, ever will be
To be a soul that is not hurt
By all this darkness that absurd
But then I know that well there is:
It is my lady´ s fatal kiss

Water is Death
In a kingdom beneath the waves,
Called Annwyn a ruler resides;
And the spirits right out of their graves,
Come to greet him with each of the tides;
In autumn or winter nights grey,
The hounds of the king hunt the sky;
Growling loud- it means you can stay,
If they re near and you hear them you ll die;
They are led by the hag of the night,
Chasing sorrowful souls to the king;
Where Arawn then grants them to unite,
With the souls that the waves once did bring;

Genie/ Djinn
Your evry desire and will,
Whatever one day you may wish for;
I hereby declare I ll fulfill!
Even if after that you just want more;
And whenever someone tries to hurt you,
Or even just wishes you ill;
I surely will never desert you,
For all of your foes I could kill;
Your enemies will cry bitter tears!
And every fight you begin-
Just whisper one word in my ears,
And you ll ever be the one to win;
Then your heart, your thoughts and your soul,
Will in this life reach every goal;
If with me you choose now to live,
And my power I choose then to give;
Just one question answer you must:
Am I god or your demon for true?
Am I love or simply your lust?
And this answer- it lies within you.
If you find it and answer it right,
I will guide you from now on all days;
And if not, the immortal light,
That is yours, will be mine for my ways;

Eine Hommage and die "Song of Ice and Fire" Reihe von George Martin. *lach*
Ice and Fire
I loved a maid as fair as spring,
With flowers in her hair;
But flowers die and so did she,
And left me in my lair;
I loved a maid as fair as summer,
With sunshine in her hair;
But summer went and she was gone,
And to be found nowhere;
I loved a maid as fair as autumn,
With copper in her hair;
She had a flame that burnt within, as fire-kissed she was
The day she broke my heart in two- it was my greatest loss;
I loved a maid as fair as winter,
With moon glow in her hair;
But ice does melt-her heart did not,
And that’s why I left her!
So after four times I had loved,
And never love could keep;
My heart did bleed, the wounds healed not,
They simply were too deep;
Then I decided cold as ice,
My heart shall now on be;
And while the seasons come and go,
No love shall I there see;
Nor moon, nor flowers nor the graceful sun,
My heart could melt;
And even fire with all force,
With such thick ice had never dealt;
And while then in my tower,
Away from all the world to see;
I sat hour for hour,
There a new maid came to me;
She was more graceful than all four,
That until now I’d known;
Her hair was black as darkest night-
A queen that left her throne;
She spoke to me in words like honey,
’bout times long gone and dead;
She told me about inner fights
And wars and then she said:
“Oh human heart, thou art so cold,
To no one you belong;
I wish it were not so- you know,
Wish you were much more strong;
But as you’re not and years have passed,
And no maids melt your heart as yet;
I’ll take you to my realm with me-
And you’ll find peace with maids long dead.”
And while my body sank to the cold floor,
-Cold like my heart
I thought about the maids I loved
’bout my old, loving heart;
And while I left the world-
The queen of death as my last bride;
That was the moment I found peace,
And knew in life I’d lost my fight;
